The lone leaf

During our Thanksgiving holiday in Washington state I noticed a tree in the backyard that only had one leaf left hanging from a branch. I liked the way it looks against the crisp and clear blue sky.

The picture seems cool and crisp with the clear sky and the dry leaf hanging on for dear life. Great color contrast!

Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving!

The last leaf of Fall reminds me of the Charlie Brown comic strip about the last leaf. Great shot. I like the crisp blue sky.
It was a great Holiday together, Mr. Mapper.

That was a long drive on Interstate 5, I have driven that way before several times. With the clear weather, you must have had a good view of Mt Hood in Oregon. For our Visit to Maple Ridge, we had a great view of Mt Baker across the border in Washinton State.
I have never been to Camas, I know where it is, just not been on our path to where we have travelled.

Hope you had a great time on your trip. The leaf looks like it's pushed itself out there so it will get noticed.
