A very long visitor

This visitor decided to show up at our front door not to long ago. My wifes aunt who was visiting was about to grab it since she thought it was just a fake rubber snake. When it started to move she quickly changed her plans. This very real snake was almost 5 feet long and 2 inches wide!

You dont find many true blacksmith's anymore but this guy was the real thing. It was snapped durring one of our excursions to the Gold Country in N. Ca. We love that area of our state and usually try to make it there a few times a year.
